Chosing the right camcorder

Jun 25, 2009 10:40AM PDT

I am going to be shooting video for my company which will be posted on our website for training. It will be short 10-15 min segments. I have a PC and Adobe Premire Elements 7. I have a external hard drive to work from with the video files. I am going to by a hard drive or mini DV (tape I believe). I have been told it is easier to edit from a AV1 file rather than MP2. I am fairly sure that the mini DV is uncompressed files (AV1 files) but do not know on the hard drive cameras. I like the hard drive cameras since I would not be worrying about buying media. Help me decide.
