On item 2, Microsoft never issued a fix. Only 15 years to do so?
For Youtube there is another possible cause. Google this:
Disable Flash Hardware Acceleration.
Mind you that if your hardware has gone south, even a reload of OS and drivers won't fix it.
I have a Dell Dimension 3000 running Windows XP. I've added an external hard drive and upgraded the ram to it's max. It runs really well, but at some point several years ago I noticed the audio in the computer was messed up/choppy. Stuff online like youtube etc, sounds fine, but in the computer, dvds, cds, and downloaded programs are horrible. makes it almost impossible to listen to. Is there any possible fix for this?
