Question

Choosing Comcast modem/router

by karenfromcanton / March 17, 2015 8:57 AM PDT

I am looking at two models-Motorola 6580 ($130), Motorola 6141 ($80) and 6121 ($65.00). Any high recommendations is greatly appreciated.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/electronics/284715/ref=pd_zg_hrsr_e_1_4_last shows these in the top spots so at this point you are looking at evenly matched horse racing. I would not give a nod of one over the other.

However I think buying such is an exercise in economics. That is, renting is fine since a lightning strike on yours verses theirs means either you fix or they fix. Also, if your cable modem is not working, you can't expect full support.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
