Continues to be the one I look at which I get a question like yours. It's also in the line up of other 13 inch models at https://www.cnet.com/topics/laptops/best-laptops/
Hello
.
I'm about to buy a new ultrabook but I'm lost, confused and tired of all these models, reviews and rankings. I'd appreciate if you could advise me.
• Total budget: 1000-1200 euros (could exceed if there’s something better but more expensive).
• Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Pick or include any that apply. Good battery life is important.
• How important is weight and thinness to you? Very. I want as light laptop as possible.
• Which OS do you require? Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Linux. Windows.
• Do you have a preferred screen size? From 13’
• Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. Not very often but yes. (SonyVegas, PhotoShop, Lightroom)
• Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? I’d like a stable touchpad (I had a couple of Acer’s models and the touchpad went crazy from time to time). I’ll mainly use the laptop for research and writing so the keyboard is also important.
• Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. I tend to open many tabs when I’m using my laptop and of course it lags a lot. I want to avoid that. I’m watching films frequently, and I like good sound and picture. I don’t really like the sense of fragility and instability when using laptops made out of plastic materials.
Thank you! ![]()
