Konica Minolta has gotten out of the digital camera business and sold out to Sony.
I don't think that Sony will continue making the Z6 series of cameras.
The one camera you didn't mention is the Canon S2 IS and the S3 IS.
It is quite similar to the Sony H2 specifications:
I'm new to this forum, and I'd like to ask everyone's advice on buying a new camera. I'm looking for something in the 4-5 MP range, with high optical zoom (8x min.), good ability to handle low-light and outdoor shots, and be under 400 dollars. So far, I've got the Konica Minolta DiMage Z6 and the Sony Cybershot DSC H2). I am worried about the Konica Minolta's Noise ratio though, and have read some reviews of poor image quality. The Sony I am not sure about because of construction issues and compatibility. Any other cameras I should consider? Any advice?
