Don't know much about hard disk players but if you're in the market for a flash player check out the iAudio U3. I've seen one and I'm getting it for the sound quality and FLAC support. Only 2Gb at the moment and pricey. There should be a horribly expensive 4Gb on the way soon
hey, I'm looking for help choosing an mp3 player- I've been looking for awhile, and here are the features that i really really want:
1. looks good
2. anywhere between 4 - ~30ish GB
3. lightweight and small
4. radio
at this point, money is of no matter- my grandparents are bent on spoiling me
- here are the ones that I've been looking at:
Cowon iAudio X5
Cowon iAudio M3
IRiver H10
IRiver H320
Olympus m:robe MR 100
Creative Zen Neeon
Creative Zen MicroPhoto
Creative Zen Vision: M
Sony Walkman Hard drive
Tao Wireless Media Player
Soniqcast
Philips 6GB micro jukebox
Philips 30GB jukebox HDD6330
MPIO HD200
It's a huge list, I know, the main thing being I love the looks of the iPod nano, but it doesn't have an FM tuner... the Creative Zen ones are good in everything except they're kinda bulky looking... apparently navigation on the MPIO is a nightmare, and the software with the Sony ones is a pain. I don't know much about either the Tao or the Soniqcast ones...
I'm really looking into the Cowon iAudio M3, but someone mentioned something about needing an adapter...? anyone know anything about this or have any advice in general? and what's "line-in recording"?
