Hello all,

I'm looking into getting some mass storage. I currently have about 2 TBs worth of media (all my shows are via iTunes-including music- and lots of RAW files). It's only going to get bigger. My wife and I both have macs. I'm looking at either a Time Capsule/Machine from Apple but I'm not really wanting to pay the Apple tax on that thing. My next inclination is a NAS sever, but I really don't know a darned thing about those. Per CNET reviews, the best one seems to be the Synology Diskstation DS410. Will this do the trick for me? If so, what HDs do I get for it?

What I'm looking for is wireless access to media/files. If I could remotely run time Machine as well that'd be a plus (Apple sales reps tell me that only the Time Capsule can do that but I don't believe them on that). I also have an Apple TV. So for streaming music purposes as well.

Thanks!
