I will not enter in any debate about it. Even in Windows NT 4.0 that was a thorn in the users side and best to not reduce to such small sizes. If you must, then don't complain about out of space, chkdks or System Restore (SR) failures. Since SR is the first line of defense against small system issues, Microsoft is not working as hard to provide detailed analysis of how to fix some items.

My bet is that the boot partition is 1/2 the right size and may even be a FAT or FAT32 volume.
If this is an issue, then you may be on the wrong OS.

Chkdsk runs before the select user screen. I don't think that I set that up. Chkdsk says a drive needs it file system checked. Does this sound familiar to anyone. How do I turn this feature off and on?
