Hello,
I am getting CHKDSK very regularly lately!
Why ?

Can happen after power loss.

There are many reasons for this one. In rare cases CHKDSK can't repair and will try on each boot forever. Thankfully that's rare.

In an even rarer case we kept such a machine around for years trying this and that. As XP's days are over we performed a fresh install to another drive, moved the user's files over and cured that one for the last time.

i also get chkdsk very often i think the main reason for that is your computer suddenly turns off it isnt shut-down properly
