Question

checkdisc not working

Apr 22, 2013 6:35PM PDT

I tried running checkdisc t takes forever to run, once more to reach login then freezes up at the login. if i shut it down using the computer button it restarts and the process starts again. I ended up unplugging it last night and it is still the same this morning. can you please tell me what to do?

You forgot to tell if this happens on an iPhone, an iPod or an iPad.

Then please repost in the forum for your OS.

Choose from http://forums.cnet.com.

Also please tell:
- why did you run chkdsk (or if you only tried to run it, in that case: why didn't it run)
- what happened when you did it
- what exactly happens when you boot

If you shutdown using the power button it's normal that chkdsk runs. So that's not wrong. That's good.

it went through the checkdisc process, it went to startup, it froze on login. after you used the power button it restarts the checkdisc, startup, login process and feezes up

Now post this in a more suitable forum.
