Try copying that file to the other PC in the same folder?

I had the free download version of this program on 2 laptops for 2 separate accounts. I bought a new PC and downloaded the freeware onto it also. One of the accounts was fairly new so I manually inserted all the data.
My question is; once I purchase the premium program and am able to have multiple accounts on the same program, how can I transfer the data from the laptop to my new PC for the old account that has 4 years of transactions in it. I'm not a computer guru, but have a Flash drive and if I knew which file to transfer and where to install it, I'm sure I could accomplish this, if is even possible at all???????????
Thanks for any help that can be provided!!!!!!

I've checked into your reply, but the "Data" file on the old laptop which has the account I want to transfer is empty. When I select backup/restore from the menu options drop down, I get a message that this option is not available on the "Trial" version.
So far the only solution I can figure out is to purchase the "Premiere" version twice. Once for the new PC, so that I can create multiple accounts, and 2nd on my old laptop so I can transfer the backup the account on a flashdrive to restore on my new PC. The cost is only $14.95 for each, but I'd rather not throw 15 bucks out the window.
Are you sure? Empty files contain no data (they are 0 bytes). But your 4 years worth of data must be stored somewhere, and certainly not in an empty file.
Maybe it's a hidden file inside the "data" folder? Maybe you are looking in the wrong folder (my guess: something Appdata>Local>Checkbook, although that is for Windows 7, but XP has comparable folders)?
Or maybe all data is hidden in an ADS (see http://www.irongeek.com/i.php?page=security/altds)?
Do I understand correctly that in 4 years you never made a backup of your precious data? Then you're quite lucky you still have it!
