when I was working for various banks, the bank had 48 hours to accept or reject a check. If it didn't and the check bounced, it ate the check. Sometimes it would try to send the check back and see if the customer would resubmit it and it would have another 48 hours to reject the check.
I would be interested if this is still true and the banks are trying to bully the customer into repaying the amount.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
