That's a standard message in case the BIOS can't find a disk (hard disk, DVD, diskettte) or USB device to boot from. So the hard drive is suspected.
- First reset the BIOS to what it was or to something like "safe defaults" and try again.
- If that doesn't help, see if it boots from your Windows install disc or stick (or the recovery drive you made) and run a chkdsk.
- Or boot to the built in diagnostics partition if your PC has it (most Dell machines, for example, come with that) and run the diagnostics.
So basically what happened was I just got rainbow six siege and so I started it up and it said my video drivers were out of date. so I checked them and they were fine but I saw my computer needed to restart for a previous update to take effect. So I restarted my computer. Then what happened was the power switch kept going between sleeping and not sleeping so I held down the power button and turned it back on. Where it then said secure boot violation. So I did some research and tried following what people said and nothing was working so I tried changing one of the settings to legacy launch. Then it brought up the issue of check cable connection. That's where I am now
I don't know what to do
