...we don't know where you reside/need to use your phone. Coverage is king, so w/o such info, how could we possible know which carrier works in your location??
Essentially, the large carriers are not the best choice if you need lower prices for service. But if you required faster data speeds, it may be the better option for you. YMMV. You will not however be able to use your cousins 4S on ATT's network w/o a data plan.
I would research the various prepaid plans to get the most bang for your buck if all you do is call/text.
Hi, I want a very cheap phone(I have heard of the deals about $10 a month). I won't use a lot of minutes but I will text more. I want a carrier that is trustworthy, has good coverage, and is inexpensive. My cousin has an iPhone 4S and she is going to get a new iPhone soon. Her iPhone 4S runs AT&T. Should/can I just get a call and text plan for the 4S or should i just get a cheap phone. I heard that some carriers recognize your phone is an iPhone/smartphone and they will charge you for a data plan whether you want data or not. I don't need data on my iPhone, just call and text. Should I use the iPhone (or can I use it) or should I just get a cheap feature phone?
Thanks
