Cheap Digital SLR

I have found a Canon 40D on line for $599.00. The last line in features says - Japanese Body. What does this mean?

You can't get warranty coverage elsewhere.

Don't buy it. Do research on the company first. What usually happens is that you buy it, then they have you call call them for confirmation. During this call, they will ask you to buy all kinds of accessories that are 4x the normal price. If you don't buy them, then they say it's back ordered. You never get the camera.

Use common sense, if the cheapest 40d is $1099 for the body then how do you expect someone to sell it for $599. They don't.

The camera is meant to be sold to someBody in Japan. You won't have warranty elsewhere. And the seller will try to pressure you to buy expensive overpriced accessories that you won't need. In the end you probably will spend more than buying from another reputable place. And if you don't buy those accessories, they take your money but won't ship you your merchandize for a long long time, if ever.

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
