I have a problem with Charter blocking emails I send out from my file server. They all are returned as spam. I've called charter twice about this and received the usual response from people who are as technically competent as old doorknobs. They never heard of sendmail (or Linux for that matter) and gave me to a M$ phone number to solve my problem. Does anyone know what criteria Charter uses for determining spam? Thanks
Yesterday I started getting messages almost each email I sent OUT... A message box came up - looked like my NORTON ANTIVIRUS was blocking.. but the little box said "BLOCKED due to being SPAM"...etc...
I read on some more and saw that maybe taking (Norton) Email OUTBOUND SCANNING OFF may "Fix" the problem... SO I took it OFF on OUTBOUND ONLY.
Well, it worked fine rest of day yesterday.
Today, you guessed it! Getting the BLOCKED due to being SPAM again!
Last time I called Charter for a problem that seemed to be a system problem, they lied and told me some BS.
That is why I am posting here to see if anyone else is having SAME problem???
Appreciate any help !!!
