Question

Charging Galaxy S5 in Car

May 17, 2014 2:12AM PDT

Will the USB ports in my car charge my phone or, or they just un-powered ports for media device connection to entertainment system? Just got new car and haven't able to find answer yet. Manual is online somewhere.

But any demand and I find tech support wavering as folk tend to litigate.

Simple answer......

....If your car has a USB port, it will charge the phone (usually very slowly) in most cars. Some cars will not charge through the ports if the ignition is off. No reason not to charge the phone in that way.

Yes, you can charge your device with the car USB port but I think there is a need to buy a USB connector for your car.

Opps, I haven't seen that ! well, if he has a newer car with USB port then he can surely charge his phone after all this is why USB ports are made for it will acts the way like the laptops USB port behaves.
