It's either the charger or the motherboard. However you must use a real dell charger.

I too got the same problem.
When i charge my laptop with its charger it doesn't charge but my charger charges other laptops (65W) .. implies charger is fine...
On the other hand when I use other laptops charger .. (of dell 65W) my laptop gets charged... so battery nd other stuff are good..
So exchanging the chargers solves the problem? Then it's solved, isn't it?

I can only guess you forgot the Exploding Battery problems from a few years ago. What happened was many makers implemented more safety features to have the charger digitally identify itself and if that does not work, the battery will not charge.
Your proof is only what it is. Many folk lose a lot of time scratching their heads when it's no mystery at all.
