Charger not marked as multivoltage

I have a Siemens cell phone with a charger which says it works at 240V. (Unlike all my other chargers whch say 100-240). Is this charger likely to work on 100V (Japan) even if a bit slowly?

No need for double posts.

I know there was a forum software problem earlier today, but your two other posts did appear.

I have now deleted those other two posts as they are now just duplicates.
