Question

Changing volume on headphones out

Jul 19, 2017 12:11PM PDT

Hello

I have LG 55UH605V tv (WebOS 3.0) and im using external speakers in headphones out port.
My audio source is set to "internal speakers + headphones".
Problem is that I can't change the volume for both internal speakers and headphone out port at the same time, it only changes the volume for internal speakers. To change headphones volume, I have to dug deep in the audio settings and change volume from there.
When my audio source is set to "headphones only" then I can change the external speakers volume correctly.

Is there a way to change audio volume for all audio sources simultaneously ?

Answer
I'm going with no.

The headphones usually are fixed level and controlled by a volume control on the headphone itself.

Workaround? To get both an external and headphone to go up and down at the same time you would take the headphone jack and split it to some external amplified speakers.

Again, no. No TV I've seen provides independent volume controls for internal and external speakers, headphones today.

Easier way

Thank you for your reply,

I am able to control headphone volume through TV, but the option is deep in sound options menu, I was wondering if there is an easier way.
