Changing Vistas language from Japanese the English

Jun 22, 2008 9:23PM PDT

I teach in Japan and my girlfriend bought a new computer without my assistance. She is Filipino, but neither of us can read Japanese which is the language of the computer. I have asked my friends for help and we have tried several things, but all we have succeeded in doing is changing the keyboard to American keyboard. That I didnt need as the Japanese keyboard already has a toggle key to change the languages on the keyboard.

Still, everything is in Japanese and a lot of times I guessing as to
what it is saying. Does anyone know any easy way to change the language in Vista?

How to change vista from Japanese to English

If you are lucky enough to have the Vista installation disk, you can simply reinstall and select English at installation time. I was able to do this on the laptop from which I am writing to you now.

Otherwise, you need to try the vistalizator or maybe try fixing your registry and installing an English language service pack. (I have yet to try that, but people have claimed success in XP.
