Changing the OS language without doing a clean install?

I just did a search for answers for my question, but I did not find any that matched my question, so here it goes : My wife's laptop has Windows XP professional in Spanish. And I was wondering if I could insert a Window XP Pro SP2 CD and have ONLY the language change without doing a complete clean install of the OS.
In other words, I just want to change the language setting only for the whole OS (not the keyboard). If there is no other way other than doing a clean install, please tell me . Many thanks

System Specs. Model Gateway 7330GZ Notebook .Pentium 4 3.50Ghz, 520MB de RAM. Windows XP Pro with SP2

You can try "XP REPAIR INSTALL" but let's be clear here. This is unsupported so this is the best you can hope for.

Not sure if youl be able to work out how to do this but you could try and do it through the control pannel (Start>Settings>Control Pannel>Regional and Language Settings (I did a google translation and I think it should be something like this if its spanish - Inicio> Configuraci
