Question

Changing Netflix subtitles issue

Sep 3, 2018 2:35AM PDT

I’ve just bought a new samsung TV (old model: UA40F6400ARXUM) and found out that Netflix app doesn’t support Arabic subtitles (or any subtitle other than English) even though my other TVs don’t have this problem.

I tried updating TV software to the latest (201Cool but it didn’t solve the problem. I couldn’t however update the Netflix app. My current Netflix version is 3.229 and last update was on 07/01/2016

It’s also known that recommended apps aren’t allowed to be deleted/re-installed!

Also i want to mention that i tried choosing the “Arabic” as my Netflix language in my account but again sadly, it didn’t help.

How can i fix this issue?

Return it under warranty if it doesn't do what it should do, and the shop didn't warn you.
Where I live, I even have a 14-day no-questions-asked-no-reason-needed return right for purchases done online.

Return products that don't deliver. I take it you already know Netflix can do this but they didn't on this TV.
