changing lexmark 7500 printer cartridge

Jan 28, 2011 9:38PM PST

the print started to get lighter on lexmark 8350 deskjet all in one printer so i got two new cartridges. I tried to install them and i get cartridge error. I called lexmark and they sent me a new 7500 printer. the same thing happened with the 7500 printer.
any suggestions about a resolution to the problem. Has anybody else run into this problem?

thanks rjn

Across dozens of makes and models. This is why you know to keep them under warranty or replace when they bust.

Remember your consumer printers are 2 year things. Many can't accept that.

If I understand you correctly 2 different printers told you about a "cartridge error". Maybe that's true?

- Are you sure you put them in correctly?
- Did you try them on a third printer?
- Did you try other cartridges?
