Changing from Lynux to XP

Hi Guys

I have a 20 Gig hard-drive which has a linux.
I want to format my hard-drive so that I can install XP.
I have tried using XP disk but it does not wipe out Linux.I even tried using a ****** but Linux does not recodnise the ******, which means that I cannot reformat Linux using microsoft product,by that I mean ****** for win98 or ME.What can I do to reformat my hard-drive which has a linux oparating system?
