Hopefully you mean Default Application and not Player.

i recently purchased microsoft software for my powerbook and followed the instructions to remove the test drive version of microsoft already on it. I then changed the default player to the new software through the open with, always open with and change all options, and it reports it has been successfully changed. However, whenever i try to open word documents it reports an error saying it cant find the default player because its in the trash, which i presume is the test drive version. No matter how many times i change this default it reverts back to using teh test drive version even though ive removed it. please help if anybody knows what i can do.
