CHANGING CONVERTER CHANNELS FROM TV

How can i change the channels of a converter box from my tv when the box can't be in the same room and there is no remote controls allowed, it has to be change from the tv itself. i'ts a healthcare facility.

How do others fix this?

Most often I find they glue the controls to the wall or TV. I'm not kidding.

But, the contol that comes with the converter and using a digital transmital adapter (dta)?

There was a rule like that and we cheated by making the remote a solid part of the TV.

What other solution did you find?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
