Here is the same problem, only posted by me about a week or two ago:
Still not had any joy, but an IT support freind of mine suggested something about "cache" and that there might be a template that I should be able to edit, but it went beyond what I understood. I must admit I've not tryed to hard to fix it, maybe I'll have time to look into it in January!
I have found that any changes I make to message folder views in Outlook 2003, such as the list and order of fields, are not saved. The folder view reverts to its default setting when I switch to another folder then back.
I have tried several methods of making the changes including right-click "Remove this column", "Views-Arrange by-Current View-Customize Current View" and "Views-Arrange by-Current View-Define Views" but nothing seems to retain the changes.
I even tried getting the Outlook 2003 hotfix described in KB898457 which seemed to be related to this issue, but that didn't work either.
Can anyone help?
