Question

Changed Id password

Jan 27, 2014 1:13AM PST

I change the id password on my ipad and tried to change it back to the original one, but it would not let
me, it said it has to be unused for one year before it
can be used again. Is there any way I can change it
back to the original?

The restriction is at Apple.com and not under our control. You bring up a good point however and some want to discuss the move away from the web, cloud and corporate controls.

.....have to speak with Apple about. It is an account security issue with them to not allow the same password to be used again in a 12 month time frame.

I was afraid of that, will have to wait till I get close to a Apple store, can't call, pasted the 90 free call time.
The reason I need to change back is my iphone will not tether to my ipad on the wifi connection since I
changed the id password, but it will connect by Bluetooth ok, so I am good till I can get to an Apple store
