changed hard drive on laptop, wireless no longer working!

My hard drive died and I replaced it with a new one. I installed windows XP pro and the other programs that came with the laptop. I used to have wireless connectivity on the laptop before but I can not find it now (only options for lan or modem). Can anyone tell me what I am missing or doing wrong please!

"installed windows XP pro" but what laptop?

In reply to: changed hard drive on laptop, wireless no longer working!

I find many forget this or that. For example on the Dell we have to install Quickset to turn on the wifi even though the wifi drivers were installed.

Since you left out the make and model, replies are going to be generic or asking for the missing details (sorry but I didn't find this in your post.)

In reply to: "installed windows XP pro" but what laptop?

I apologize, the laptop is an off brand, Nspire - M2 series with Pentium M processor. I found on one disc included with the computer some info stating " intl_calexico - wireles lan driver and application
proset - intel wireless lan application"
"Prow710 - intel wireless lan driver"
If this information helps, I really appreciate your response and assistance!
