If 98se is up and working, why change this?
There are zero-install OS's like Knoppix.

I have an old HP with 333 Celeron and 10 G hard drive and Winows 98SE. I have not used this for a while and want to use it as a back up for my XP on Sony computer. I will mostly be letting neighborhood senior citizens use it to experiment on to learn basics of computing. That way they will not be using my good computer. It has at least 128 for the Ram and I think I remember updating to 256 a long time ago. My question is; is there another system besides 98SE that could be used that would take up less hard drive space? I have heard of things like Red Hat and things, but do they just go on top of 98SE and just add more to the hard drive? I am NOT a computer whiz! JB
