Question

Change function keys to default keys

Oct 14, 2015 1:17PM PDT

I want to use the extra function of the function keys, without having to press fn all the time. Now, when I want to change the volume I have to press fn+f11. I just want to press f11 because it's easier.

I have an ASUS ZENBOOK UX305, Windows 10.

I already tried restarting and pressing all the f-keys, but I don't get a 'BIOS-screen'. When I open an UEFI-screen I don't find the right thing to change the keys. I don't have a numlock-button so fn+numlock won't do it. I tried pressing fn for 10 seconds but that doesn't work either.

Can somebody please help me?

Answer
You'll probably find this somewhere in the Control Panel

settings.
Apple uses the same, annoying FN thing, but can be changed in their equivalent of Control Panel
