Change Forum name

Jul 29, 2006 9:57PM PDT

A lot of folks seem to think the Graphics forum is about Graphics cards. Maybe the name of the forum should be changed to "Image Editing and Graphics" or something like that to avoid confusion.

I've also noticed that spokme people don't understand what "Desktop Publishing" is and think it is about their wallpapers and such. I think maybe the two forums could be rolled into one since there isn't that much activity on either.

It's also apparent that many post software issues in the PC Hardware forum.

Maybe the "Not a Software issue Forum"?

:) So what would you suggest

we rename THIS forum to deter all of the posters that ask for hardware/software/Virus/etc. help here?

How ' bout: NOT a Software/Hardware/Virus/or anything else BUT a forum issue related forum for CNET forum stuff, period

Bet some folks wouldn't read/comprehend that title any more than the bold red note above all reply forms regarding supplying system info, etc. for tech help Wink It doesn't seem to matter if you use one word or 100 words to describe or instruct; there are just some folks that do not and will not take the time to be informed.

You know the old saying: You can lead a horse's as- ........... oops!
