There is a power supply on the motherboard that has a limit. It called it out so you need to stick to that limit. 125 is past that limit.
This "power pack" is on the motherboard and is not the Power Supply Unit or PSU.
-> Is this for gaming? If so, you change the GPU, not the CPU.

I want to replace my CPU with this AMD Phenom X4 980.
Why in the HP technical data sheet is this CPU compatible with my motherboard? TPD value of the CPU AMD PHENOM X4 980 is 125 Watt, and the value TPD compatible with my motherboard is 95 Watt!
Also, the processor that i want to put use probably more energy than the last, so, I also need to change the power pack?
