change color

is there any way to change the background color of an app like wordpad to something other than white, sorta like the feature in command prompt.

Wordpad for example takes that color from

The system colors. So to change that you could use REG.EXE to script a change to the system colors. All backgrounds of all apps would change but since Wordpad takes that color from there, this is the answer for this app.

wow that seems like a lota work, the data there is in RAW format. i would have had to crank that out. but i ended up using the advanced themes option from the properties menue.
