Microsoft updates can flip it out like that. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/12263334/internet-explorer-wont-play-my-video-unless-the-user-click-compatibility-mode notes something site owners can add to their HTML code.
Tonight out of nowhere (never an issue before) certain sites if I'm on Internet Explorer will not play videos unless I put "Compatibility Mode" on.
I have the latest version of Internet Explorer.
One of the websites was the New York Yankees I would think they would be pretty up to date on technology.
If the computer is Windows 7, Verizon Fios, Dual Core, with JAVA/FLASH updated why would this be an issue all of a sudden?
YouTube was fine.
Finally Internet Explorer gives you an option to put all sites in compatibility mode, pick the ones you wish, or non at all.
Why wouldn't everyone choose all?
Thank you for your time.
