The battery time is pretty variable. Find a review or a few that offer battery or talk time. I have no issue hitting a day on a charge but I don't live on my phone. And when I'm using the GPS, I'm on power in the car.

I need to buy a smartphone for purely browsing,emails ,chatting,gps and low duty stuff ..and good battery life with talk time .Won't be using for games or videos ..
Also would like it to fit in pocket..so less that 4.5 inchs size...
Keeping these in mins I kinda zeroed in on sony xperia L and samsung s4 mini .I do agree S4 mini is much better phone than xperia L .
But is it worth the extra bucks ,for the above mentioned ?? If yes what are teh features that i would be missing if I go for xperia..
