Question

Cellphone battery : Problem in charging, what it could be?

Apr 11, 2017 12:04PM PDT

I'm using Motorola Razr V3re for the last few years. Now a days, while trying to charge, I've to adjust (or press) the battery, and then it starts charging.

Could it be battery gotton old? Or charger needs to be replaced? Or connections inside the phone have become old?

I know the phone is old, though for reasons, trying to get it working.

Answer
The battery is usually a 300 cycle thing.

So the battery is old, I'd change that first.

battery could be the problem

if you have a different charger, give it a try but sounds like it could be the battery. the phone itself should be okay though you may want to check the charging port and make sure nothing looks broken.

Battery worth replacing

I would isolate the charger first since it seem working when you move the battery. Does the battery able to hold a charge and doesn't drain rapidly? At that age, it worth replacing and see if the same issue exists.
