Cell phones with GPS

by Love / October 31, 2004 10:31 PM PST

I was wondering if you have a cell phone with GPS built into it. how can you track it. Do you need special software, or is there a website that you can punch in the cell number and the location is brought up.

well yes it can be done but with the access us the public and udnerground users have we can only track u to whatever state or city u are, i can track down my phone or any other phone but first i have to type some codes on the phone then i get the numeric address so i can track it n the computer. i just wish i can ping point the exact location but only the police... and the cell carrier can track u to a exact location .

I don't know about the message where the person uses "secret codes" - I had to laugh at that one - just go to - it's free and there are no such thing as secret codes - I did enjoy the humor though

only authorities in Turkey

here in Turkey, only authorities use that service in case of theft. I really think that our networks know exactly where we are, when. They track us the minute we start talking.
I am sure of it because when tsunami hit Endonesia, one of our cel phone networks sent everyone there free talking times. How did they know all the Turkish citizens that were there and their phone numbers ad their whereabouts?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
