Does anyone have experience with Verizon & T-Mobile in northeast Ohio? Also how is quality of samsung vs motorola? I am looking at Samsung E-315 vs Moto V180.

My only negative experience with a Samsung is poor battery life. After trying two different batteries and two phones, I went back to a Moto for the longer battery life.

I have a Samsung and I don't have problems with battery life. I have the Samsung a650 from Verizon Wireless and it's been the best phone I've owned to date. It doesn't have the battery life of my old Motorola 120c, but I own a color screen phone and battery life seems to hold up for me. My brother has the LG VX4400 and he complains about battery life on it as well as reception. I can say that reception is much better on the Samsung a650 vs my old Motorola 120c. The Samsung will work in more areas than the Motorola 120c wouldn't work. It's a matter of choice.

I have had alot of bad experiences with the moto and have great experience with that samsung. It seems as though there have been bad batches of the v180 sent out and they also are sending them out with cords that you cannot use internationally.

battery problem, certainly not a problem with talk or stand-by time.

The Samsung E-317 that you speak of takes pictures but won't send them, I've been told. What good it that? I think the Motorola V551 is the better choice with Cingular, I might even try the LG-1400 before the 317, but I'm going on others reviews. The olny one I've owned is the X427 and I like it.

I own the Samsung E-317 and yes, it does take and send photos. There are some tech issues w/ the Motorola V551 right now.
