Cell phones making life easy on every move

by sherlockabruce / January 27, 2009 11:05 PM PST

Dear readers, hope you all are doing fine and good, well have you ever thought what our life would be like if cell phones were not invented??? Well I have thought about it actually I didn't I just had no other choice but to think about it... Let me tell you the story, yesterdays was the worse day of my life because I woke up late from sleep and had to rush for work, guess what!!! I forgot to take my phone along with me, man I missed being with my phone for entire day because all my business contacts were on it and I was like totally help less with out it... I love to listen to music when I take a break from work and I usually listen to music on my phone because I love it, I use a iphone, having a iphone, why should I listen to music in anything else...... Cell phone is truly a mind blowing invention but even when cell phones were not out, the world used to run, maybe not as quick as it runs now but it used to still run...... Well I think we can not live for a week now with out a cell phone only because we depend on it too much......

Thanks for reading guys......... Have a great day............

Backup your contacts over the web, or locally on your PC
by Pepe7 / January 28, 2009 1:19 AM PST

Even a flash drive would suffice to not have to worry so much about not having a backup of your vital work/life contacts. Using an iPhone makes the whole backup scenario a lot easier since there are multiple ways to do it. I also pack a small sansa MP3 player with a 2GB SD card of some of my favorite tunes for the same reason you experienced going without ;).

cheers,
Pedro

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
