Question

Cell phone for user with severe hearing loss

by meg65 / September 12, 2015 6:42 AM PDT

Need cellphone for user with severe hearing loss. Prefer smaller unit than I-phone 6 and I only use phone function--no texting, etc. Note I-phone six rated at 100 decibels with speaker engaged; would like this amplification with smaller unit--flip phone OK.

Cell phone for user with severe hearing loss

I have a 79DB loss which is severe.I have an AT&T razor phone. It has a setting to turn up sound.I got it to replace my verizon razor when it wore out.it is the only cell phone I have been able to use and hear on.the person on the other end does have to talk plain and clear.I am pleased with this phone. It allows me to talk to others and is easier than being tied to only a caption phone.I lost my hearing at the age of 58 so I have lived on both sides of this issue.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
