Cell phone & fancy boats - GREAT when you get rid of them!

May 23, 2006 1:32PM PDT

I am a fairly techno savvy person. But when I want to talk to someone I want to hear them crystal clear and I expect they want the same. The good old fashion phone is second to none for clear communications. Answering devices, secretaries etc. provide me with the number of those that I wish to talk to and it is secure. I choose not to be at the instant beck and call of people and want to replace only those calls that are important to me. If the caller insists they can replace the call.

Like my fancy boat, the best day was when I got rid of them. The one I have now only works for outgoing calls and dire emergency. The peace and quiet is priceless and leaves me time to think in tranquillity.
