Cell phone compatability with T-Coils on Hearing Aids

by scruffy46 / April 8, 2006 1:13 AM PDT

With all the ballyhoo about the new phones, there seems to be a field which does not cover the needs of hearing impaired cell phone users. The FCC has mandated that in 2005 and later, all cell phones must be capable of hearing aid compatablity use.As a hearing disabled user, there does not seem to be any reviews about the capabilty of cell phones to be used with hearing impaired users.I had to do so much research online until I found a hearing aid compatable phone. Most phones had a digital buzz which made them useless. The phones I found that work for me is the Nokia Tracfone Mod.1100 and 1221.These phones with the use of Nokia Moble Inductive Loopset LPS-3 allow me to use the cell phone to the best advantage. The loopset is the best so far,in helping me use the phone. It allows me hands free use and dual listening with two hearing aids.I now can call all over the country with no problems. What is your opinion about this.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
