Cell Phone Companies Gone Wild!

by d_south / July 22, 2004 12:44 PM PDT

Why am I angry? These cell phone providers are out to gouge everyone. These corporate nincompoops are fighting over coverage areas and have defined a host of technical reasons to gouge us to death. These companies are using bandwiths in certain areas, making it impossible for Police and Emergency Vehicles to communicate. We're Americans dangit! It's time for the cell phone providers to respect where the money is coming from, US, and provide service that's actually worth what they charge. I think that in this day in age, with global terrorism, wireless communication should be affordable and accessible to everyone without the limitations and restrictions currently in place. Hear this LOUD and clear, We need cell phone plans that are as easy to understand as local wired home phone plans and that cost no more than a local company charges for local/basic service with the option to choose our existing or new long distance carrier. $30 a month with boatloads of restrictions and every reason to buy the more elaborate plans is starting to get annoying and unreal. Come on America, We don't have to take this. I'm tired of playing mind games with phone providers. Somebody Stand with me. We can fix this if we work together.

Thank You,

Peace, Love and Prosperity

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
