I have yet to find anyone give a dissertation on this but the short answer is no. It's not the phone's antenna but all the parts together. And the real test is trying phones on the various networks. My Tracfone worked more often than my Virgin Mobile phone but when VM worked it could be better. That only proved that a long dissertation is required for folk that can't accept the short answers.

I posted this question earlier. I screwed up the posting.. Selected answer as "no" but don't believe that since the apple Iphone gave me a better signal, which leaves me to believe different phone antennas do make a difference, This was the case for an AT&T phone set as well as the Verizon phone set. Just trying to figure out if there are any other phones beside the Iphone that will be better than my convoy 2--all on contracts.
I am a member of numerous other forums, boats, RVs, fishing, etc, in fact, about 10 other forums,. but this forum is the toughest one to use of all those I am on. Just an observation.
