Celebrity Endorsements ...

... just saw Dann Florek doing a commercial for gold -- general gist was "protect your investments, buy gold". All that came to mind for me was his character in LA Law who, if I'm not mistaken, caused Roxanne to go bankrupt with bad financial advice. He's in L&O SVU right now, but still not all that big a name. You would think maybe they could find someone that doesn't conjur up images of financial ruin!
