ceiling speakers

I would like input on the best ceiling speakers. After years of big stereo speakers, I build a home and wired it for speakers. My home has high ceilings. I'm wondering if I buy high end speakers, that I will lose the quality because of the room. I've been looking at Paradigm speakers. Thoughts?
