Hi everyone, I'm having a nightmare with my CD-rewriter.
I have recently deleted JetAudio from my PC to save space and now my CD-rewriter won't identify blank discs. The drive (D:) recognises all data and audio CDs, but not blanks. It comes up with the error message: "D: is not accessible. Incorrect function."
I've taken many steps to rectify the problem including going to the Microsoft site - the problem is identified but they relate the problem to Roxio CD Creator, which I have never installed on this system.
Other than this, I have deleted and re-installed the driver for the CD-rewriter; I've deleted the upperfilter using RegEdit (there was no lowerfilter to delete).
Please help! I'm running XP SP1 (I don't have the space to load SP2) on a Compaq Armada, with Intel P3. My CD-rewriter is a TEAC CD-W24E.
Any help would be much appreciated!
