Hi,
I have a problem that started about 10 days ago. Now, at odd times (for example, just now when I restarted my computer, or when I'm surfing the web) my CD Rom player tray door will open and then close. I don't touch the drawer at all nor click any buttons related to it. Note: I do, however, keep a WordPerfect disc in the CD player it (to get to the graphics easily) and WordPerfect is on my start up directory. I add this in case it's relevant.
I think this problem started about the time my wife once shut off my computer using the kill button. However, I can't say if the events are related. I have defragmented my hard drive twice but that hasn't stopped the problem.
Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.
